Structured Data and Editorial Image Validation Checklist
Validate the final rendered pages after installation. Source-code intentions are not enough: the visible content, canonical URL, schema graph, images, dates, and plugin output must agree.

For every tested URL
- The URL returns HTTP 200 and is not blocked by robots.txt.
- Exactly one visible H1 describes the page’s primary purpose.
- The canonical points to the final preferred HTTPS URL.
- The meta description is unique and accurately describes visible content.
- There is no accidental noindex directive.
- JSON-LD parses without invalid JSON or duplicate conflicting primary entities.
- Structured-data dates match genuine publication or substantive-update dates.
- Every marked-up review, product, price, author, breadcrumb, FAQ, and image is represented in visible content.
- The mapped editorial image loads, has meaningful alt text, declared dimensions, and matches the page topic.
- Mobile receives the same primary content, links, prices, disclosures, sources, and structured data as desktop.
Schema ownership checks
One organization
HostWebReview should have one stable publisher entity and logo across generated pages.
One primary page type
Use Article, Review, CollectionPage, ProfilePage, or WebApplication only when the visible page supports that role.
No plugin collision
When Yoast, Rank Math, or another SEO plugin is active, confirm overlapping WebPage, Article, Breadcrumb, Organization, and FAQ graphs are not duplicated.
Accurate images
Editorial diagrams can support Article and Review image fields, but they must not be presented as screenshots or testing evidence.
Review-page checks
- The reviewed provider and plan are clearly identified.
- Official facts link to provider-controlled sources.
- Editorial conclusions are labeled separately from provider facts.
- First-hand observations appear only when the plan, date, setup, method, and limitations are documented.
- No star rating, aggregate rating, speed claim, uptime claim, or support-response claim is invented.
Tools to use after launch
- Run the built-in HostWebReview rendered-site audit from the plugin settings page.
- Test priority URLs in Google’s Rich Results Test.
- Use Search Console URL Inspection to compare the live page with Google’s indexed version.
- Check browser source and rendered DOM when another SEO, caching, or optimization plugin is active.
- Retest after theme, SEO-plugin, caching, schema, or major content changes.
